Meet The Staff
Anatomy Gifts Registry is a program of the Anatomic Gift Foundation, Inc., a Maryland not-for-profit corporation. The Company was founded in 1994 by Jim and Brenda Bardsley after their eight-year tenure concluded with the International Institute for the Advancement of Medicine (IIAM). Prior to that, Jim graduated college and went to work for the National Diabetes Research Interchange from 1983 to 1986.Today, in addition to his duties as AGR's President, Jim is an avid conservationist active in several charitable environmental-protection groups. He is also pursuing a Masters degree in ecology. His favorite past-time is powerlifting where he has won numerous contests and set several Maryland strength records for his age and body weight.
Jim is by far one of the most experienced people in the growing field of research tissue banking. He believes strongly in family loyalty and this is evident in AGR's management. His wife of 25 years has a clinical background in nursing and manages the technical aspects of the organization. His brother, Brent Bardsley and his wife Debra, the Chief Operations Officer and Finance Director, respectively, round off the senior administrative officials. Together with the rest of AGR's impeccable management, there is over 80 years of experience which helps explain why AGR is considered by many of its clients to be the most trusted name in this field.
