About AGR

Anatomy Gifts Registry (AGR) is a division of the Anatomic Gift Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 1994. The organization's mission is to place donated human tissue for use in Medical Science and Education. The tissues are obtained from donors participating in our Whole Body Donor Program. The need for human tissue, to study human disease and ailments, is very great and continues to grow. The founders of AGR had recognized this need very early and formulated a mechanism that could provide tissues, lawfully obtained, and prepared by knowledgeable and experienced staff, to researchers and clinicians worldwide. AGR differs from other similar programs in many ways, but most notably our staff who has un-paralleled experience, believes in operational transparency, and provides a kind and caring alternative to traditional funerals, without the financial burden that separates us.
